Stable Musculoskeletal Injuries (HB)

Stable injuries are defined as a problem with a muscle, bone, ligament, tendons, or connective tissue but still allow for some limited use.

A good example of this is rolling your ankle but still being able to walk. It may be sore and a little uncomfortable, but you can still bear weight on it.

Depending on what was injured and how the patient will use that area, we may want to provide some protection or support. We can do this by simply wrapping the area with an elastic bandage or building a splint if we think the injury needs one for better support.
